You’re a spaceship captain who has to choose the best itinerary to go home…but at what cost? With each portal you go through, you will sacrifice an asset: sound, UI, sprites…
This old-school shoot’em up was made for the Ludum Dare 43 and it is my first solo game in a game jam. The idea was to sacrifice assets (sounds, sprites, UI…) while shooting at ennemies, making the game more and more difficult. I used sprites made by Master484 (they are in the public domain).
Final ranking : 378th/ 2514 submissions
Controls : Arrow keys to move,
Spacebar to shoot. Shooting consumes energy.
Known bugs : some explosions won’t disappear.
I used Unity, Visual Studio, Photoshop CC 2018 and Audacity.
